To Our NIA Family,

As we close out 2023 we took a moment to look back at some of the highlights from our past NIA meetings:

  • Our first Spring meeting in 2011 at La Quinta, where we enjoyed desserts and nightcaps in the courtyard of Garbo’s favorite suite.
  • The many meetings at the Montage where the after-dinner campfires were just one of the highlights.
  • Fall meetings at the California Yacht Club and the LA athletic club (where we watched an unforgettable lingerie basketball game).
  • There was the Santa Barbara Biltmore right before the pandemic with all the charm of old California
  • The Inn at Torrey Pines and “bucket list” golf as we came out of shut down.
  • And, this year our third meeting at Ojai where we enjoyed their spectacular renovation and beautiful pink moment at sunset, but also recalled a past pool party, and the mechanical bull at a closing dinner.

Great memories, great stories, and most importantly great friends and colleagues. NIA has always about the people. All of you.

There is a saying that “All good things must come to an end” and it is time for NIA to come to an end. The combination of tightening corporate purses and exceptional increases in operating costs have converged to make our business model no longer viable. We hope you hold some of these memories as dear as we do and we hope our paths cross again soon.

Many thanks to our members, our board, our speakers, our sponsors and all the attendees and volunteers who made it possible.
