About NIA West

Founded in 2010, the Nutrition Industry Association, NIA-West, picked up where DCAT West left off after a 50-year run of annual meetings designed to "meet, educate and collaborate."

NIA is a non-profit professional association that is supported by and for its members. We work to bring expert speakers with deep knowledge to share their insight on a range of topics from regulatory affairs, to nutritional research, to packaging and dosage forms and much more.

We also work hard to make sure we bring plenty of opportunities for networking and fun along the way. There’s no trade show floor or concurrent sessions, forcing you to choose one over another. We work to slow it down, encourage spirited discussions, new collaborations, and just enjoy one another's company. You’ll be amazed at how much more you can get out of a quieter conference.

The industry has changed since NIA first started, but the continued goals of producing high-quality, science-based, effective supplements, and the challenges in doing so, remain. The NIA Spring conference continues to offer some of the best value for your investment as we continue into 2020 and beyond.
